Matti is a native Finn from the city of Kuopio, nestled in the heart of Finland's beautiful lake district. He is passionate about sharing Finnish culture, history, and the quirky humor that defines Finnish life. With a background in teaching and linguistics, Matti brings a structured yet fun approach to learning Finnish. His hobbies include ice swimming, mushroom foraging, and cheering for his favorite hockey team, KalPa

ANNELI VIRTANEN

Anneli, a Helsinki native, has always been fascinated by languages and how they shape cultural identity. As an expert in Finnish folklore and traditions, she loves weaving stories into language lessons to make them engaging and memorable. Outside of teaching, Anneli enjoys baking traditional Finnish pastries like korvapuusti (cinnamon rolls), hiking in Finland’s national parks, and participating in local choirs.
